Sunset BBQ Dinner Cruise

We usually start our cruises on the Kilim River Geopark mangrove river. On the way out to the yachts you can pass by a favourite spot for white bellied sea eagles to feed and you can often see dozens of eagles and kites swooping on their dinner.

You can also stop in the mangroves at a fish farm to get touchy feely with  pre jurassic horse shoe crabs and sting rays.

Suggested Itineraries

Option 1    Arrive departure jetty 5.30 pm

Board speedboats for a 15 minute mangrove trip to the waiting sailing yachts.

Yachts are positioned amid the stunning, limestone cliffs that featured in the film, "Anna And The King" starring Jodie Foster.

Enjoy the crystal clear waters of Langkawi on your corporate yacht charter.

This whole cruising area has recently been awarded World Geopark Status, a conservation award for community supported environmental preservation and is one of the most outrageously beautiful places on earth.

Having boarded your yachts you are immediately greeted with a welcome cocktail and a brief safety address by your skipper. we cruise out through the "hole in the Wall" a narrow gap between two cliffs and you are immediately amongst a scattering of islands including Shoe Island, Battleship Rock, Dendang Island and Langun Island to name a few you will pass by on your trip.

We anchor in a charming bay between Dendang and Langun Islands where you have time to swim before dinner. We deploy safety dinghys and you can safely swim between the yachts while the crew get the BBQ sizzling. As sun set approaches we get back under way and cruise back towards the river. If you are lucky you may see a dazzling sunset, which in Langkawi is such a fusion of Grenadine reds and glowing oranges that you may be excused suspecting that you were looking at the sky through the glass holding your Singapore Sling cocktail! Keep you eye out for dolphins. This part of Langkawi is notorious for dolphin visits as they congregate to feed near the river which are spawning grounds for fish.

Keep an eye out for indo pacific humpback dolphins, frequent visitors to this area and who love to jump at sunrise and sunset. Now that the sun has dipped its weary head pillowards the real show can start. If you live in the city you rarely get the opportunity to see a star filled moonlit sky, or the true number of visible stars due to "light clutter".

Our delicious BBQ is a match for any restaurant in Langkawi!

Out in the emptiness of the sea, on a clear night, the sky becomes ablaze with stars and it really does quite take the breath away and leave one not a little humbled at its vastness and our own insignificance.
